Golden Oak at Walt Disney World Resort is a luxury residential resort community within the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The area was named to pay homage to Walt Disney’s Golden Oak Ranch in California. The first few home sites were available for purchase in late 2010 and completed in late 2011. Golden Oak offers custom single-family vacation homes and estates priced from $1.8 million, featuring themes such as Spanish, Mediterranean and Colonial. Residents of Golden Oak Resort community have access to certain amenities at the nearby Four Seasons Resort Orlando (also within the Walt Disney World Resort). These include a full-service spa, restaurants, and a golf course.
Vacation Homes in Golden Oak Resort are located in several neighborhoods dedicated to different eras of architecture. Houses on the property range anywhere from 3,000 s.f. to 12,000 s.f. All vacation homes in Golden Oak are pre-furnished. Kimball Trace – Based on Tuscan architecture, with houses ranging in size between 3,000 and 5,000 square feet. “Homes are sited with an emphasis on privacy.” – Silverbrook – Filled with water features, and positioned close to the clubhouse, houses here range from 5,000 to 7,000 square feet. – Carolwood – Surrounded by natural preserves, in the northernmost part of the Golden Oak land, with the biggest houses, with a range of 6,500-12,000 square feet. – Marceline – Marceline includes two parks, which feature statues of several Disney characters, with houses being between 3,800 and 6,000 square feet.
